The beginning

It is more than three years since I went to Tallinn but I still remember the day I arrived there: the 8th of August of 2009.

I was terrified because my tutor could not go to pick me up from the airport, and I did not know that much about the city, so once I arrived I took a taxi that drived me to the place which was gonna be my house during the next month: The Academic Hostel.

I was so hungry that after leaving the suitcases in my new room I decided to look for a supermarket. Which was my surprise when I went outside that the weather was amazing!!! But... I just brought winter clothes!!!! (Yes... Estonian stereothyes) So I was there, in Tallinn, under the warm sun, looking for a supermarket.

Once I found it i came back to my room. It passed only one hour when I heard a really strong spanish accent talking in English trough my door. More spanish accent. It was a girl. She was talking to someone. Silence. And, suddenly, "knock knock". She was knocking my door. I opened it. That was the moment when my Erasmus started.

Five minutes later I was introducing myself to people from different nationalities. Those people were gonna be part of my Erasmus family. And that day, we were gonna have our first Erasmus dinner, our first Erasmus night and our first Erasmus meeting.
