Summer time means cycling time

It was still August when our intensive course´s teachers prepared a bike riding tour from the city center to Pirita. The weather was nice, an tour seemed interesting, but... It was like ten years since I did not ride a bike, so I was a bit scared.

First of all, we met in downtown (in the rent-a-bike store) and we tried a six places´ bicycle, it was so fun!! We could not run that much because everytime we tried it we almost fell down! But, for being the first time I tried that kind of bikes I enjoyed it a lot.

After that, each of us took a bicycle and we started our tour. We rode along the path close to the sea, the views were incredible. Later we visited "Kadriorg", the presidente residency, and its full of all kind of flowers´ marvelous gardens. After it we continued until we reached the Tallinn Song Stage, where the Tallinn Song Festival takes place each year. This monument has an important historical background, there took place the Singing Revolution. We reached the top of the hill, the sight from there was spectacular, we could feel the inmensity of the place, and we could also rest a bit.

When we went down from the hill we went to take some food and something to drink before continuing our trip.

The last stop took place when we reached another hill, from there we could have the views from Tallinn´s bay. AMAZING!! As it was as sunny day we could enjoy the sight from the top of the hill. From there we could see not only Tallinn but Pirita too.

Finally, we came back to the downtown. The returning was really hard, at least for me, I was tired of cycling all day so it got complicated for me to come back. But, in the end, I did it and I joined the group.

I can assure it was a nice experience!! :D
