Stockholm trip (Part 1)

Some days ago I talked about the two Stockholms; the summer and the winter one. So now, I am going to talk about the trip to Stockholm.

As I said, to go from Tallinn to Stockholm there is a ferry during the night that leaves Tallinn something around 18.00pm.

It was still August when our Estonian friends proposed us to go there. So, we just prepared our suitcases, we charged our cameras and we took the ferry.

The first impression of the place was that you could get lost there, it was such a huge ferry that you could play hide and seek and you would not find to the other person.

After entering in it, the crew gave us the key for our rooms. I shared room with three Erasmus friends of mine. The room was not so big, it had two bunks and a small toilet, enough for “sleeping” two nights.

A part from the rooms, the ferry had stores, restaurants, a piano bar, sauna, jacuzzi, bar, a disco and an amazing roof with balcony.

As it was summer time we decided to enjoy the views from the roof, there we sat down in some chairs and we spent hours talking. After it, we decided to start our night in the ferry.

The night consisted of having dinner and going out. We started the party in our rooms, then we continued in the bar of the ferry (there was an spectacle by made dancers who were dressed as if they were in a cabaret), and it ended in the ferry´s disco. I should recognize that the night was amazing, it was really fun, and the dj… He was our best friend!! I have never met such a nice dj who played all the songs we wanted to.

We slept a few hours before hearing the noise, and the voice, which announced us that we had arrived to Stockholm.

After making some turism we went back to the ferry. We had lost the control of the time, due to the time difference, so we decided to start the night in a more relaxed way than when we travel from Tallinn. That is why, some of us decided to go to the jacuzzi and to try the sauna.

Once we were relaxed enough we decided to repeat the previous night, and yes!! This time the dj was as nice as before, we will always like him!!.

Even though I said previously that I went twice to Stockholm I am going to stop here, the winter trip will be related on other ocassion, let´s enjoy this one first…
