Dark-Haired´s decision

“Europe´s living a celebration! Todos juntos vamos a cantar!”

That was the song. The only one that my friends and I sang when I chose my Erasmus destination. (Thank you Eurovision!! At least everybody could located Estonia in a map).

“Why Estonia? You are gonna be the only dark-haired girl in the country!!”

And that was the sentence that everybody told me everytime we met at the corridors of my home University. Ok, yes… Most of the girls there were blond, but I was not the only brunette there! But let´s start from the begining:

Why Estonia?

I chose Estonia because I wanted to move to a different country, one that had nothing to do with my birthplace, an unknown country where I could learn, enjoy, travel and meet new people.

I chose Estonia because nobody else chose it before, it was an undiscovered place that should be discovered!!.

It is two and a half years since I came back and I still miss my days there: Our dinners, our parties, our trips, the Estonian summer time, and the winter weather!!, the italian food, the teamworks at the University, Bilbona´s food creations… Everything was different there.

But let´s go step by step…
