Why did you choose to go to Aveiro, Portugal?

Because i have the facilities with the university of Aveiro and my work in another collegue in Colombia and i like the program i´m doing there

What is the student lifestyle like in Aveiro?

Aveiro is a college town, everything is very close and very cheap, also its a beautiful and very welcoming city and all the people are very friendly.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Aveiro to other students?

I would recommend this university and this city for any international student, everything is pretty easy and the city has all the facilities required by a student of this style.

What is the food like?

The food is delicious, but, if you dont like fast food, fried things, you´re not going to enjoy what the food has to offer.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

The university has courses of Portuguese for foreigners, but they dont open the course every semester so you have to look for another options so i found that the city offers freee courses for foreigners are achieved easily in the foreign office or santiago market.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Aveiro from your city?

Plane bogotá - madrid then madrid - porto and two hours of train to Aveiro.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Aveiro?

there are a lot of good places in the praça do peixe

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

the museum of Santa Joanina

Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Aveiro in the future?

if someone is going to study in aveiro , have to know that is a great university , in addition , the city is very welcoming and the food is delicious
