Why did you choose to go to Athens, Greece?

My home university already has an agreement with University of West Attica.

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

The scolarship was 400euro/per months. I was there for 5 months, so I got 1400 euros (%30 when you get back).

What is the student lifestyle like in Athens?

It's really nice for students, cuze ESN groups are working so nice there. They always organise parties (which has rakomelo xD) and events to have fun.

What is the food like?

Souvlaki, ouzo, rakomelo, mousakas... and many more. I love all food from Greek culture. Yeah honestly I was familiar, cuze it's almost same in my country.

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Athens?

It was not that much hard to find a flat. There is a facebook group and many nice people to contact. If you don't mind about modern furnitures, it will be easier ofc.

How much does it cost to live in Athens?

It's kinda weird question, really up to person. It paid 220 euros for rent(all included), 15 euros monthly pass ticket. 3 times in a day you can eat free in university. So mostly I was eating free with good quality. 500 grams bread was 50 cent. Frappe was 1 euro. Burger menu is around 4-5 euros. Local beers are kinda cheap. Just prefer "ALFA" instead of "fix" :) 400 euros can be enough even for a month with hanging around and join parties.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

Alphabet is easy to learn but grammar rules are kinda hard. You can learn daily words (not re malaka!) to talk some. Pronunciations are really easy to speak.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Athens from your city?

By plane from Istanbul.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Athens?

Ohh man, now you're talking. Especially Friday and Saturday night, it's rule to go on night out in Athens. You have to go a tavern take your rakomelo and you will suddenly start to dance with live musics such as ciftetelliko :)))
