What is it like to live in Athens? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?
It is amazing living in Athens because every day you discover new places! And everyone is different and Athens is a city that accepts this. The disadvantage is that it is so big that you may need to spend a lot of your time on transportation. Plus, it is not bicycle friendly (except some spots)
What is the student lifestyle like in Athens?
If you want to have fun you will for sure! There are many free things that you can also do!
How much does it cost to live in Athens?
300 euros per month for your daily needs and having fun are enough! (excluding expenses for the house).
Is it difficult to find accommodation in Athens? Is there any advice you can give?
It is not difficult to find accommodation but most of the times are placed in 'bad' areas. So pay attention to that. Before you book an accommodation check if the area is ok to live.
What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?
Everything is tasty for sure. Suvlaki is one of the most famous, tastier and cheaper fast food you can eat.

What advice would you give future students heading to Athens?
It is a very big city and it is easy to end up alone. But that only happens when you don't do anything for you. If you are energetic you will love Athens for sure!
