What is it like to live in Athens? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

It's nice, everything is close and even though it's crowded at the city centre people are very welcoming to everyone. We have great history museums and really great universities. Athens may not be a big multicultural city but it sure is promising and definatly breathtaking!

What is the student lifestyle like in Athens?

We have some of the greatest unis I believe.where someone could choose from a variety of subjects.

How much does it cost to live in Athens?

I believe it's quiet cheep city,but it depends on someone's way in life.You can find cheep but you can also find expensive. So it depends!

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Athens? Is there any advice you can give?

I think it not. I would definitely recommend somewhere near the city not in the city because it is more expensive more crowded and noise there

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

Food is absolutely amazing ! As a Greek I would recommend 'Souvlaki' the most delicious! But Greek salad ,mousaka, pastotsio and many more are also tasty!

What places would you recommend visiting in Athens?

Acropolis- Parthenon and the museum the most! Moreover mount lycabetous has an amazing city view and the other museums share a lot about our history and our Greek ancestors.

Is it good to eat out in Athens? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

It is.But there are many great places,I can't chose. People should try most and see for themselves!

Is the nightlife good in Athens? Where is good to go?

Absolutely amazing nightlife ,we have many clubs where you can have q lot of fun but at the same time relax..Athens ,Kolonaki ect have some really good spots

What advice would you give future students heading to Athens?

Have fun and enjoy Athens the most! And came back for the islands at some point!!
