What is it like to live in Athens? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?
The city is huge... you can do a million things. Greek food is the best! Everybody speaks English well. Of course I recommend it!
What is the student lifestyle like in Athens?
It is very nice! We have a lot of faculties; the nightlife is very good. ESN organizes a lot of events.
How much does it cost to live in Athens?
Approximately 250 € max you can find an ok apartment. It is a little bit expensive country but not like Italy or France...
Is it difficult to find accommodation in Athens? Is there any advice you can give?
No I think it's not difficult.
What is the food like? What are your favorite dishes?
Souvlaki of course! Greeks love it, and everyone that visits Greece should eat at least 2 or 3 per week.
What places would you recommend visiting in Athens?
The areas for students are mostly at city center, Exarcheia, Aigaleo, kerameikos.
Is it good to eat out in Athens? Can you tell us your favourite spots?
Kafeneio 111, zerbetospito tis nancy, kebab Thanasis.
Is the nightlife good in Athens? Where is good to go?
Kerameikos station and you can find a lot of clubs.
What advice would you give future students heading to Athens?
Enjoy nice music, food, and friendly people!
