Weird , you dont have so much freedom like other cities in Greece , due to the long distances.

How much does it cost to live in Athens?

Some things are very cheap some normal and some expensive but in general if you keep your budget in normal levels you can shrvive easily

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Athens? Is there any advice you can give?

Yes, communicate with ESN organizations of the universities or check if you have the possibility to live in university's dorms

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

My favourite dish is souvlaki, baked tomatoes filled with rice

What places would you recommend visiting in Athens?

Acropolis , plaka , museum of Acropolis, syntagma square , beaches in the summer.

Is it good to eat out in Athens? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

Yes. You can find delicious and cheap street food in Athens very easily. From hot dog, burger and souvlaki to falafel and noodles. Try local cuisines .

Is the nightlife good in Athens? Where is good to go?

Yes, you can go on Gazi in the winter and Poseidonos avenue in the summer . In these areas are the most nightclubs. Also , if you want something cooler than that there is a lot places in Athens like loukoumi bar in Monastiraki, nâlu cafe in Alimos. Google it and you will find everything.

What advice would you give future students heading to Athens?

Installations are mediocre , transportation the same, but the parties , the food and the nightlife are totally worth it. Try to meet up local students or citizens , you will not regret it.
