Athens...Athens is one of the most beautiful and interesting cities in the world. I don't know where to begin and where to finish: Restaurants, museums, the Ancient Agora, Plaka, the city-centre, libraries, bars, the Attican sky, the sun!

You can do everything you want. Just that!

How much does it cost to live in Athens?

About 500-600 euros/month

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Athens? Is there any advice you can give?

No, not at all. There is a neighborhood called Ampelokipoi that many students live there

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

Everyone knows that the greek food is the best! The best dish -especially for a student is greek-souvlaki, pasta, pizza.

What places would you recommend visiting in Athens?

Mainly the city-centre which is huge and very beautiful, with many differences and similarities.

Is it good to eat out in Athens? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

Actually it's the best idea. Some favourite spots: Taxyfageion, Thanasis, Atitamos, Kostas, Namaste Indian Food, the China Town

Is the nightlife good in Athens? Where is good to go?

Yeeees! In the city-centre you can find everything, there is also a neighborhood 30 minutes about from city centre called Xalandri, there are many bars there

What advice would you give future students heading to Athens?

You can have a wonderful experience! I studied in Athens for 4 years. The best years of my life. Greece is a very beautiful country and Athens is one of the most interesting cities in the world. My advice: Be always careful, take care of yourselfs and you can go live and have a great time everywehre in the world ;)
