What is it like to live in Athens? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

It is very intresting because there are so many place that you want to explore, very attractive due to the lifestyle of people in Athens and finally it is an expirience never-to-be-forgotten for people with every taste.I totally recommend it.The city, at the daylight, contains the city hustle and bustle but you can reach easily destinations with ''green''.At the night you can enjoy a city whole night lifestyle.

What is the student lifestyle like in Athens?

It is a very nice experience including every kind of help to one's studies(libraries,internet access etc.) and Athens itself is a place to be studied containing great monuments and worth visiting sightseing.Of course, let's remember that Athens has great night lifestyle which every young student is intrested in.

How much does it cost to live in Athens?

At first Athens is a city for visitors with low budget but ,as every country in Europe, has destinations for visitors with intention to spend a lot.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Athens? Is there any advice you can give?

Usually someone has not problem finding accomodation in Athens. There are a variety of apartments, youth hostels at very conveninet prices. The only that i would like to notice is that specific areas of Athens which are not so safe especially at night.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

In Athens you could find every kind of food including chinise, italien, indian, mexican and of course greek traditional cousine.I would truely recommend to eat greek typical dishes.

What places would you recommend visiting in Athens?

The new Museum of Acropolis and other cultural places are worth visiting . Also Plaka area is a very interesting destination that someone have the chance to shop and have a cup of coffee.

Is it good to eat out in Athens? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

The centre of Athens is the ideal place for one to have dinner.One of the best restaurant in Athens is Varoulko.

Is the nightlife good in Athens? Where is good to go?

Athens includes a great night life style with bars, clubs and cozy cafes. Panormou, Gazi, Thiseio, Plaka, Monasthraki and Glyfada are the best places to go for entertainment.

What advice would you give future students heading to Athens?

We would advice the future students to have an exploration at both day and night of Athens and enjoy their study experience as well.
