Athens is a very nice city for living and having an erasmus experience. People are friendly, wether is good and students leave full of exciting experiences.

What is the student lifestyle like in Athens?

There are many students in athens, erasmus and local ones. There are many ways of entertaiment so you will never bee bored. It is a very alive city, every day of the week

How much does it cost to live in Athens?

The cost of Athens is neither low nor high. You can rent a room for 200 euros centrally, spend approximately 150 euros for food and 20 euros for student monthly transport in te whole city

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Athens? Is there any advice you can give?

It is not very difficult to find accomodation in Athens. For foreign students it is done via internet normally

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

Perfect gastronomy!!!! You will love the variety of dishhes, seafood aqnd of course the cheap and famous SOUVLAKI!!!!!

What places would you recommend visiting in Athens?

Historical monuments, city center, parliament, different museums, monastiraki square

Is it good to eat out in Athens? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

You can find food in every corner of the city and it is not expensive

Is the nightlife good in Athens? Where is good to go?

Absolutely. Monastiraki squ7are, gazi, glufada for summer an also many erasmus parties near universities

What advice would you give future students heading to Athens?

Do not b scared of current economic situation. Athens erasmus life is an experience you shouldn't lose. Go for it!!!
