What is it like to live in Athens? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

Living in Athens is fascinating. I would recommend you to live in the center like Monasthrion or Thision, Syntagma or Exarchia. The city has advantages and disadvantages: the vehicle's gases exhaust and the absence of green; trees are one of the most annoying disadvatage in the center; but there are some places like National Garden in Athens or Thissio and Plaka, where there are many traditional alleys and green places.

What is the student lifestyle like in Athens?

The student lifestyle in Athens is awesome. There are areas like Exarchia, Plaka, Monasthrakion or Thissio that are full of very cheap places ideal for students!

How much does it cost to live in Athens?

About €80 a month without paymnt rent or house.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Athens? Is there any advice you can give?

No it's not. There are many places in suburbs or center that is about 120-220 a month or less for students.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

Of course souvlaki but not in the center places. You must search about places in Aghious Anargyrous Xalandri to eat delicious souvlaki. But there is also some places in center like Candavlos in Gazi(Kerameikos). Also you can eat mexican food in Chalandri or Chinese in Koi (Athens) or Indian in the center, Monasthrion
