Why did you choose to go to Athens, Greece?

The main reason to take my experience in Athens was the job position that I got as a web designer. Also, to know better the Greek culture.

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

I got Erasmus+ grant.

What is the student lifestyle like in Athens?

I was very disappointed with the Erasmus Greek organization! I did get any help. I don’t know the main reason for they’re a super slow response. And also the person who works add the subway station didn’t expect my ISIC card... I am super disappointed! I hope they will get some updates!

Would you recommend the city and the University of Athens to other students?

I don’t have any idea I was working in a company! My program was training in a company!

What is the food like?

The food was always good! Just the new visitors in Athens need to my super careful when the server brings the receipt cuz they have a double standard for tourists!

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Athens?

Yes, it was a long process!

How much does it cost to live in Athens?

290 € includes everything!

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

It’s hard to learn!

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Athens from your city?

Bus but I recommend the flight!

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Athens?

Pireus!

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Athens?

Savvas in Monastiraki! The menu it’s with normal price and they have a terrace with amazing view look direct to The Acropolis!

Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Athens in the future?

Athens it’s amazing place to stay if you are not leaving in the downtown areas like Victoria and Omonia! For good place for relaxing I recommend Vouliagmeni Lake with student card costs 12 €! Super relaxing and cozy place!
