Erasmus Experience in Athens, Greece by Giacomo
Why did you choose to go to Athens, Greece?
Because I was in touch with a professor.
Would you recommend the city and the University of Athens to other students?
Yes.
How much does it cost to live in Athens?
Around 600€/month for rent a room and for eat.
What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Athens from your city?
By plain, with Ryanair.
And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Athens?
Euxapis (49A Andrianou Street, Monasteraki).
Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Athens in the future?
Be careful for money, phone and wallet on the trains (in particular metro), in the stations, in the pubs and in general in crowded places. If it is possible use internal pockets for wallet and phone. Every central place is safe but some people take every good opportunity to steal your valuables.
