Why did you choose to go to Athens, Greece?

Because it's completely different from Portugal in every aspect: gastronomic, cultural, social and political.

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

I received 2000€ for ten months. But it's not enough. I paid 250€ for the first apartment and 200€ for the second one.

What is the student lifestyle like in Athens?

It's great. It's complicated to deal with all the burocracies, but, in general, the teachers/coordinators are very kind and helpful. It's easy to manage a good timetable and the classes are nice. But, my course is a language course: English and French. So I hadn't any problem to communicate, because the teachers talked everytime in English or French.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Athens to other students?

Sure I do! The city of Athens is fantastic! In every corner you have a piece from the past. It's very beautiful and you can have the sea, beaches and mountains at the same time.
