Why did you choose to go to Athens, Greece?
I choose to go to athens becouse of location, wheather and the rich culture that I was so instrested in.
How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?
I got a about 1500€ scholarshi from erasmus, and also about 400+ €/ a month from KELA
What is the student lifestyle like in Athens?
Its very friendly and a lot activities. Mutch more that qhat we have in finland. You have parties and also lots of trips aeound there Country and get arrounds.
Would you recommend the city and the University of Athens to other students?
With all my heart!!! Definetly go and explore the beautyfull city and the Country.
What is the food like?
The food is mutch cheaper to eat out side than to cook your own. School gives free breakfast, lunch and late dinner. Thw food is ok.
Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Athens?
You have to rent from a private sector there is no school dorms.
How much does it cost to live in Athens?
Incluting the rent... 600€ per month is plenty.
Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?
There is a greek coyrse. You will learn the alphabets and some basic words.
What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Athens from your city?
Puclick transport. Metro and buss.
Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Athens?
Excharhia for taverns and gazi for clubs.
And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Athens?
Excharhia is really nice food and hipster region of the city.
What good cultural sites are there to visit?
The hole athens and greece is full of historick monuments
Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Athens in the future?
Be open mindet. The culture might be different but the People are nice.
