What is the student lifestyle like in Antwerp?

Very good I think but accommodation is very expensive but the life style seems pretty good.

How much does it cost to live in Antwerp?

Eating out can be expensive if you go to restaurants but there are fast food places around if you need them and are reasonable.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Antwerp? Is there any advice you can give?

It’s not difficult but it is expensive. Try to partner up with someone or others that will keep your cost down. Hostels is another option.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

Belgium stew is excellent. Food generally is of high quality and generous.

What places would you recommend visiting in Antwerp?

The main city is excellent architectural sites along with a buzzin night life. Various quarters are interesting culturally like the Jewish, Morrocan, Chinese sections of the city.

Yes. They are all relatively good. Not had a bad meal anywhere.

Is the nightlife good in Antwerp? Where is good to go?

Yes. There is a lot going on in and around the main square in Antwerp. Once there you don’t have to walk far to find something.

What advice would you give future students heading to Antwerp?

Try to make contacts quickly so advise can be asked about cheaper accommodation.
