What is it like to live in Antwerp? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?
I personally love Antwerp, but I know it doesn't count for everyone. It's a dynamic city, but if you're new in the city, it will take a while before you find your place.
What is the student lifestyle like in Antwerp?
There are a lot of student activities in Antwerp. I'm not that much into student clubs are that kind of parties, but there is always something to do for everyone.
How much does it cost to live in Antwerp?
It's getting more expensive. It will be around €350 or more to have a shared student home. But you can search for something to share with a couple of friends.
Is it difficult to find accommodation in Antwerp? Is there any advice you can give?
It's alright to find something, but start on time! You can look on Facebook 'op kot in Antwerpen' and even kapaza or 2dehands, and there are sites who specified in it.
What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?
There are a lot of shops. I mostly cook myself. But there are also a lot of restaurants. If you know the right places, it's not too expensive. My favorite dish is a lot of vegetables with coconut milk and rice.
What places would you recommend visiting in Antwerp?
