What is it like to live in Antwerp? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

Big but very small city, there is a lot to see and to do. Even though Antwerp is very big, the interesting places are close to each other and it doesn't take much time to travel from hotspot to hotspot.
You can find lots of organised activities in the city (especially summertime) in the beginning of the evening you can make the choice to have a nice loungie night/nice restaurants or sport activities with infrastructure provide by the city.
After this it is partytime in one of the famous clubs and pubs.

What is the student lifestyle like in Antwerp?

Upcoming! New collaboration between the Universities of ''Leuven'' witch gives new perspectives, there is a nice neighbourhood with studentbars and lots of activities!

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Antwerp? Is there any advice you can give?

You can use some websites like 2dehands.be or hebbes.be but you have to be early in the vacation time, August might be too late...

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

It is like every city, everything can be found! Chinese, Libanese, African, European,....

Is the nightlife good in Antwerp? Where is good to go?

You should go to RED&BLUE discotheque, usually this is for gay people but some nights it is open for straight people and it is a superclub with very good music and the prices are ok.
For the fancy fancy nights out you can go the the NOXX, big discotheque with famous dj's and special themes.
