Why did you choose to go to Antwerp, Belgium?

I had to choose between Germany and Belgium and Belgium won .

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

The scholarship initial was for 6 month but I asked for an extension for 1 year and it was aproved. The scholarship was 400 euro's .

What is the student lifestyle like in Antwerp?

It is party hard all the time and study hard but not so much.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Antwerp to other students?

Yes.

What is the food like?

I was cooking myself so I did not eat from the city but anyway you can buy fries with many kinds of sous.

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Antwerp?

No I was looking on internet and it was easy.

How much does it cost to live in Antwerp?

With rent in a student kot 500 euro/ month.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

Yes there are a lot of courses and the language is not so hard for the germanic languages but for latin languages is hard.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Antwerp from your city?

Foot and bus.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Antwerp?

Barbier, Republik, Cassa, a lot of places

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Antwerp?

Giovani Pizza, Chines all you can eat, Ribs all you can eat , ...

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

Museums and the center of the city .

Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Antwerp in the future?

Go there and live the Erasmus experience in a nice, young, multicultural, open minded and beautiful city where every night is white if you meet the right people or you are with them.
