Why did you choose to go to Antwerp, Belgium?

I chose Antwerp to improve my English skills

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

It lasts for 5 months, and I receive 1440 €.

What is the student lifestyle like in Antwerp?

It's crazy, there are a lot of different kinds of people who you can hang out with.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Antwerp to other students?

Definitely yes.

What is the food like?

I fall in love with all kinds of sweet here.

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Antwerp?

Not really. The school helped me a lot but you can find pretty good options on Kotweb or in Erasmus groups on Facebook.

How much does it cost to live in Antwerp?

On average 350 € per month but it depends on personal interest.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

Everybody speaks English but the University offers Dutch language courses as well.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Antwerp from your city?

The bike is the perfect way to transport here.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Antwerp?

Local pubs or club d'Anvers but it depends on what kind of music does a person like.

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Antwerp?

I love Chinese food so I will recommend sushi restaurants as Ocean Sushi, but you have to prepare that you gonna paid at least 20 € main dish.

There are lots of museums or galleries that worth to visit with interesting changing expositions. And lovely parks with lots of various events happening all the time.

Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Antwerp in the future?

Don't be afraid to meet other people, visit places and discovering the city.
