What is it like to live in Warsaw? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

Living in Warsaw is really for those, who loves energy, challlenges and who can catch every moment and make it special. This is the city of unlimited opportunities to develop yourself with plenty of cultural events. It's a city where everyone can find something special for him/herself. If you want to taste the climate of the rush, success and open-minded society, come here and enjoy!
But Warsaw is also the city which commemorate the tragic history of Poland. The new architectural order is interwined with buildings where it's almost tangibly perceptible the heroism of those who died in the world war II and in the Warsaw uprising. Those, who died for the freedom and for the honor- the heros of everyday life. Warsaw is a place where the history and the future has it's own order and it consitutes the identity of the people, who live here.

What is the student lifestyle like in Warsaw?

Crazy, intense, powerfull and diversed.

How much does it cost to live in Warsaw?

The costs of living are on average 1400zł/ mounth, it's not so bad. The best way to save money is to buy in supermarkets because the food is really cheap there.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Warsaw? Is there any advice you can give?

There are plenty of students dormitories and milions of room for rent. If I were to advice you, I'd reccomend to see the apartment before renting it and it's also reasonable to set all the rules with the owner before moving in.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

The food in Poland is really DELICIOUS! Our pierogi and bigos is realle something that you should taste here. If you taste it, you won't eat anything else but pierogi;D

What places would you recommend visiting in Warsaw?

the museum of Warsaw uprising, The Science center "Kopernik", The Palace of Culture and Science, Pola Mokotowskie, Park Skaryszewski, Park Krasińskich, Nowy Świat, Royal Castle and plenty, plenty of the other;)

Is it good to eat out in Warsaw? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

There are plenty of placec where you can eat out, but if you want to eat for a cheap price, I'll reccomend you the "milk bar" or the chineese bars

Is the nightlife good in Warsaw? Where is good to go?

Warsaw like no other city in Poland, never sleeps at night! There are many clubs where you can dance or sing on karaoke, it depends what you are looking for. One things is certain: you'll find something for yourself!

What advice would you give future students heading to Warsaw?

Stay open-minded, be nice and SMILE! Polish people really use to forget how to smile sometimes- learn them!;)
