What is it like to live in Vilnius? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

Vilnius is a beautiful city for the harmony of nature and architecture. The only downside is Russian immigrants that lack basic culture and are quite dangerous if you are walking alone at night in certain parts of the city.

It's probably more difficult to rent something outside University because people might be suspicious of foreign students and unwilling to rent. But that is not a rule.

Lithuanian cuisine is really nothing special. The most interesting dish is the cake Šakotis, it looks really cool and is delicious. Mostly Lithuanian diet contains meat and potato dishes. Foreign cuisines are very popular.
