Why did you choose to go to Vilnius, Lithuania?

I chose an exchange program, where I had to study for a year in Lithuania and another in Germany. Being a non-European I thought this was a good opportunity for me to get to know about two different cultures and also get a good education at the same time.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Vilnius to other students?

Yes, I definitely would.

What is the food like?

There are various cuisines available in the city and they come in various price ranges, so if it is just a quick grab to eat, or some fine dining; Vilnius offers both.

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Vilnius?

No, the university was kind enough to provide us with an option for comfortable and cheap accommodations.

How much does it cost to live in Vilnius?

It depends on the type of spender you are, I am personally a lavish spender, but there are some friends of mine, who I have seen, can manage their monthly expenses with around €300.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

There are language courses available within the university, they are thought by professors as well as there are also various language foreign language classes that are conducted by students from the respective countries.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Vilnius from your city?

Airplane (the only way actually).
