Why did you choose to go to Napoli, Italy?

I have been in Italy before and I really liked the way of living there, so I wanted to go again. Napoli was the only city in Italy my university has a contract with.

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

I spent in Naples 4 months. My scholarship was about 520 euro.

What is the student lifestyle like in Napoli?

You can have a great student life in Naples. It is small enough to live in the city center and it is big enough to have many students and two medical universities. The university was nice and most of the professors were kind. Most of the professors speak English, but this is not like this with students. Few of them speak English and if you want to join their groups you need to learn some Italian.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Napoli to other students?

Yes, Napoli. The city is extremely beautiful. There are also places to be seen near the city like the volcano and the Islands. There is well organized social life with the other Erasmus students. You can meet them in the university, or at Italian course or at the Erasmus parties. If you want to learn in the university you may learn, if you want to rest... you will have time for this too. Erasmus is a story of freedom.

What is the food like?

The food is marvellous!

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Napoli?

Well, I had a friend who helped me and took me to the Erasmus office. I was in Erasmus house with 4 other students. The apartment was Ok, a little bit cold in the winter and the taxes were much higher then they told us at first, but it was near the city center and this was good.

How much does it cost to live in Napoli?

600-700 euro per month.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

Yes, there are language courses you may attend and I highly recommend this.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Napoli from your city?

From Sofia to Rome by plane and then by train to Naples.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Napoli?

Well, you can have a walk near the sea. You can go at some gardens in the old center but this places changes every year as I heard. You can eat pizza on via Tribunalli.
