Very calm city, parties every week, studying is easy in Business and Administration and for other courses is medium difficulty.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Maribor to other students?

If you want to have fun, come here. It's not the best place to study but you will learn anyway.

A mix of every country around Slovenia, Italian, hamburgers and chicken plates.

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Maribor?

No, I went directly to a dormitory, but it isn't hard to find a private house or dorms from the university.

How much does it cost to live in Maribor?

400€ per month.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

I only know the basic words because it's a very different language from Portuguese. There are paid courses.

Flight to Zagreb and then bus or train.

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

Not much, just looking around to the architecture.

Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Maribor in the future?

Go to the Pohorje Mountain, it's spectacular. Be prepared to walk a lot.
