Manchester is a great city to be a student. It is cheap and there are lots to do. The nightlife is good and there are also places for a cultural visit.

What is the student lifestyle like in Manchester?

There are so many students in Manchester so the lifestyle is great, it feels like everything is suitable for students, especially if you live in Fallowfield, where most students choose to live.

How much does it cost to live in Manchester?

It is cheaper to live in Manchester than in London. Rent in a student house can be between £75-£100 a week, not including bills. Transport is cheap, alcohol is cheap, going out is cheap and even food shopping is cheaper than other places in England.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Manchester? Is there any advice you can give?

What I recommend you to do is going into an estate agency so they can help you to find a house or a flat to live.

What is the food like? What are your favorite dishes?

It is easy to find any kind of food in Manchester. But it is most famous for the Curry Mile, where you can find really good Indian food. Otherwise, go to the Northern Quarter for a more expensive meal.
