Why did you choose to go to Leuven, Belgium?

Because of a great university KU Leuven. It's a student city and my friend recommended it to me!

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

6 months, 410 Euro per month, but I got all money in advance.

What is the student lifestyle like in Leuven?

Student lifestyle is perfect, you can go out every day, there are at least 30 bars/clubs/pubs in radius of 500m.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Leuven to other students?

If you like partying hard, but also studying more then,this is a perfect city for you.

What is the food like?

Fat, a lot of fat: fries, burgers, kebabs and again a lot of fries!

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Leuven?

No, I am in a student residence of KU Leuven, so I didn't have to find accommodation, but you have to apply early for student residence.

How much does it cost to live in Leuven?

800 Euro, more if you want travel and this do kind of stuff.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

For me language is very hard.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Leuven from your city?

Ryanair.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Leuven?

Everywhere is great, a lot of people is in Oude Markt and you can just pick bar an go.

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Leuven?

"Magnia e via" for pizza, it's the best. Other places, I don't know...

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

Not so many, library, city hall...
