Experience in Istanbul, Turkey by Shah

What is it like to live in Istanbul? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

I really like Istanbul because it is an Islamic country so it would be suitable for me to pass my student life there because i am a Muslim by myself and aside my spiritual views, it is really a beautiful and romantic city. I have never been there before but i will go there in September and carry on my education there.

What is the student lifestyle like in Istanbul?

I am going for the first time and i don't have early experiences of student life in Istanbul.

How much does it cost to live in Istanbul?

i have not stayed in Istanbul yet but as i have heard from friends it cost 600 dollar per month for a student.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Istanbul? Is there any advice you can give?

I don't think so

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

My favorite dishes are Turkman pallow, kabab and karai which are afghan foods maybe you don't recognize these by their name because i have mentioned their traditional names and i don't know what is it in English or maybe there wont be such a food in English.

What places would you recommend visiting in Istanbul?

I haven't visited Istanbul yet and so I don't know where I recommend to.

I have never been in Istanbul and i don't know where to go.

What advice would you give future students heading to Istanbul?

I don't have experience from student life in Istanbul and I am going there in September for the fist time.
