What is it like to live in Athens? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

Living in Athens has its ups and downs. There is a lot of noise everyday, especially if you live in the center. The prices are normal and there are a lot of good places with amazing view. I would totally recomend it because you can never get bored of Athens. There is a huge variety of shops for all kinds of people (everyday events, live shows, music tributes e.t.c).

What is the student lifestyle like in Athens?

Students are all over Athens as there are 4 universities there (including one T.E.I). There are a lot of activities for students to do!

How much does it cost to live in Athens?

Living in Athens is not that costly and the prices are normal!

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

There are a lot of food reastaurants in Athens. Most of them are placed in the centre of Athens and it is easy to reach them by transport.

What places would you recommend visiting in Athens?

Definately Acropolis and Thisio. Both of them are amazing places with an amazing view and some really nice shops. Also Gazi is a popular place for students, mostly for partying.

What advice would you give future students heading to Athens?

Take care of your things because there are a lot of gypsies willing to steal in Athens.
