For the first semester i received 1000€ . It´s not much, but it´s not bad at all. That will depend of the type of life of each one.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Athens to other students?

No doubt. I think that Athens, is a great city to make Erasmus, is a BIG city, and if there is something that made me impressed was the people. Specially the Greek Students, they are friendly and always ready to give you support. Like i said before, you have many things to explore in Athens, since monuments up islands and beach!

The food, is a bit different from the Portuguese food. You can notice, that is a Mediterranean Gastronomy. They use, much Spaghetti and less rice! You can also find some Turkish influence on the Greek food. It´s easy to find restaurants with "Kebab" ! You can also, find Indian Fast Food Restaurants...i mean you can find almost everything!

This is very important! Because, before i came to Athens i couldn't find a useful information, about this topic. For my experience, forget about the announcements on the streets, because you will call and a few persons will know how speak English with you. You can Acess to some Facebook Groups, it´s by far more easier to find something.

If i compare the prices to Portugal, here it´s more expensive. By far! A coffee will cost you 2-2.5€ . A meal, in a normal restaurant maybe 15-20€ .But, if we compare with European Average i think that is normal prices.

I study in ASPETE. If you like, you have course to know some basics words in Greek.
