It's a small city but it's developed enough to provide a comfortable stay. Prices are cheap so it's very convenient for students.

You begin to love the city after a while and it starts to feel like home.

It's very calm and convenient. There are night clubs parties every weekend. There are beautiful landscapes and green places for nature lovers.

How much does it cost to live in Zlín?

The minimum is 200 euros per month. The average is between 250 and 300 euros per month. If you pay beyond 350 euros per month, then you live like a king.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Zlín? Is there any advice you can give us?

For foreigners it's a bit difficult. First they should consider student dormitories and then, if they aren't lucky, they should try to find some flats.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

The food is very good in Zlín. Fruit is a bit expensive but it's Europe. Meat, cheese, and milk products are very cheap and with high quality.

My favourite dishes are: Goulash, halusky, entry soups...

Yes, it's very good! Almost everywhere: any fast-food place would do the job. Restaurants are very good and there's a wide variety of prices.

Is the nightlife good in Zlín? Could you tell us some good places to go?

I would say Zlín's nightlife is decent. I'd recommend goin to Flip and Blok12 when it's Latino night, and to Fenix for Czech music.

What advice would you give future students heading to Zlín?

Just come to Zlín, you will not regret it!
