Experience in Zaragoza, Spain by Natalia
How is the student atmosphere in Zaragoza?
Very good atmosphere, many activities for students.
What about national food? What are your favourite dishes?
Food is really good, of good quality, and it is cheap in supermarkets and homemade and traditional in bars.
What places do you recommend to visit in Zaragoza?
'Parque Grande', 'Plaza del Pilar' where you'll find the Basílica del Pilar and the Catedral La Seo, 'Mercado de las Armas' (first Sunday of each month).
And for eating in Zaragoza? Can you mention your favourite places?
'Bocatart' or 'Cebrián' for eating a good hamburguer, 'London' for a generous helping of patatas bravas, and the areas of 'El Tubo' and 'La Magdalena' for having tapas (especially on Thursdays, 'Juepincho', tapa and small glass of beer 2€).
What places do you recommend for nightlife in Zaragoza?
'El Casco' and 'La Zona' are the most popular areas among students to go out partying. In 'El Casco' you'll find 'Kenbo', 'DeLuxe', 'Point', or 'La Casa del Loco' (places closing ) and for drinking there's nothing better than 'Spit Chupito'. In 'La Zona' you can find 'Mile End' and 'Fox'.
Do you have any piece of advice that you want to give to future students coming to Zaragoza?
Come here like really feeling it and don't be scared of wind!
