Why did you choose to go to Zaragoza, Spain?

because the specialization I chose for my masters was only offered in Spain

What is the student lifestyle like in Zaragoza?

is good, specially tapa places to meet with friends.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Zaragoza to other students?

yes

What is the food like?

mostly tapas. so most of the food is based on pork and cheese. therefore, no many option for vegetarians

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Zaragoza?

yes because most people want to rent their places for longer periods of time and not only for a few months as it is in the case for erasmus student. I had to go through an agency and pay a lot of money in order to find a place after walking through all areas in zaragoza trying to find for accommodations

How much does it cost to live in Zaragoza?

rent is about 500 euros without including utility bills.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

there are many options to learn spanish. I personally speak spanish so it wasn't a problem for me. However, people in zaragoza don't speak english at all so you need to learn spanish

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Zaragoza from your city?

I am from bolivia, so it would be by airplane to madrid or barcelona and then by train to zaragoza

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Zaragoza?

to the tubo. they have good tapa places to chill and go out with friends

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Zaragoza?

el champi is a tapa place where their tapas are made of mushrooms. Also since I am vegetarian, a really good place I found was Baoba.

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

The Basilica which is the main church and people gather around on saturday just to enjoy a nice day

Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Zaragoza in the future?

getting a bike is very convenient in order to move around the city since it is a relatively small city.
