What is it like to live in Zadar? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

It is a really nice city, I would recommend it to any student, it is fun and people are very hospitable.

What is the student lifestyle like in Zadar?

Students are very helpful and cordial. Most of them will help you with any problem you have.

How much does it cost to live in Zadar?

It is not expensive, you can get an apartment for 130 euros per month. Bread is less than an euro, drinks are around 2 euros, clothes is more or less as in other parts of Europe, food is not so expensive and we have a student's canteen.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Zadar? Is there any advice you can give?

I live in the dorm, but finding an apartment is not so difficult, you have a lot of options.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

It is not an unusual food, more or less our dishes are combination of meat (fish) with vegetables. I like chicken and all types of potatoes.

What places would you recommend visiting in Zadar?

You need to visit the old city, witch is the part of the city where are University is located. There are some nice places near to Zadar as Plitvička jezera or Paklenica, as well as the islands.

Is it good to eat out in Zadar? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

As I told you we have the student's canteen, and it is the place where most of the students eat, but there are some nice restaurants as Bruschetta, Dva ribara, Pet bunara and the best fast food Medo in the bus station

Is the nightlife good in Zadar? Where is good to go?

There are few bars/clubs: Maraschino, Q bar, Hitch, Zoilo...

What advice would you give future students heading to Zadar?

Just enjoy and have a nice time.
