Why did you choose to go to Zadar, Croatia?

I choose Zadar for the landscapes and also because I've heard that people were nice, welcoming and laid-back (something that I needed). Moreover, I wanted to be near the beach and to have a nice weather (even if this is not really the case right now).

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

I'm staying in Zadar for around four months (February-July). I had scholarship from Erasmus.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Zadar to other students?

The city is beautiful especially the old town, there are some monuments to visit but the best is that you can take a walk along the beach when you want.

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Zadar?

I had trouble finding accommodation so I decided to apply for the student dormitory. So, I'm currently living there. But the dormitory has only 6 free spots for Erasmus students so the policy first come first served is applied here.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

There are courses of Croatian at the University of Zadar on Fridays.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Zadar from your city?

I travelled by plane.
