Why did you choose to go to York, United Kingdom?

I really like England.

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

It was supposed to be 4 months, the first 70 % was 1160 €, not sure if we get the last 30 %.

What is the student lifestyle like in York?

It's amazing. The university really helps making the best out of your student life, and the city is also good for students.

Would you recommend the city and the University of York to other students?

Definetely!

What is the food like?

Not special.

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in York?

The university has residences for us.

How much does it cost to live in York?

Rent is 450 pounds a month, for the rest approximately 300-400 pounds a month.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

Yes, English.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to York from your city?

By boat.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in York?

On wednesdays to Revolution, on non wednesdays to Salvation.

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in York?

Yes: Slug & lettuce.

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

Not sure.

Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to York in the future?

Enjoy your time, go to the Pound a pints at saturday in university and defenitely join a sport club.
