At first I want to tell about Armenian religion, that Armenia was the first country to adopt Christianity as its official religion, in the early 4th century .Saint Gregory the Illuminator is the patron saint and first official head of the Armenian Apostolic Church. He was a religious leader who is credited with converting Armenia from paganism to Christianity in 301. The first church in Armenia (The Mother Church) located in the city of Vagharshapat (Echmiadzin), Armenia. The original church was built in the early fourth century between 301 and 303 according to tradition by Armenia's patron saint Gregory the Illuminator, following the adoption of Christianity as a state religion by King Tiridates III.
