What is it like to live in Yerevan? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

Living in Yerevan is simple, safe and practical. Reaching from one place to another, whatever time of day, is really easy, using Taxis/Bus/Metro Station/Bicycle and my favorite means of transport, walking. Gardens, spots of relaxation and recreation are scattered around Yerevan, this makes walking really enjoyable. There is always a green beautiful garden to walk through. Yerevan is a city of expression. Across the city you will come across artists, musicians, dancers, expressing themselves and putting on a show for passer by's to enjoy. I recommend Yerevan if you are looking for an extremely safe, creative and sunny city.

What is the student lifestyle like in Yerevan?

I studied Architecture for 4 years in Yerevan, so, I have eperienced the student life. Yerevan kept me inspired during my years of study. The student lifestyle is pretty normal here. Transport from home to school is easy. Food is cheap if you spend wisely and smartly. There are many open open-air/closed study cafes and co-working zones scattered across the city. After a long week of studying, during the weekend there are alot of pubs to drink a beer with friends and relax. Additionally, people in yerevan love to work, alot of companies accept intern students to work, paid.

How much does it cost to live in Yerevan?

Yerevan is a relatively cheap country, especially if you are a foreigner with the main supply of money coming from outside.You just have to be careful with Taxi drivers charging alot of money if they see that you are a foreigner. Be smart and try your best to make use of taxi apps like Yandex/GG/U-Taxi. Grocery shopping is at an acceptable price, rent pricing is acceptable as well. You can have fun in yerevan for a cheap price because of all the outdoor free recreational spots.

Armenian food is delicious, especially western Armenian food which I enjoy more.

Is the nightlife good in Yerevan? Where is good to go?

I cannot say that nightlife is crazy like the western countries, but you can most definitely have an amazing night with friends.
