What is it like to live in Yerevan? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

Yerevan is the heart of Armenia and its older than Rome. City where old and new worlds are crossing. Yerevan is sunny and hospitable city where everyone can fell himself at home.

What is the student lifestyle like in Yerevan?

Student life in Yerevan is interesting because it not only consists of studying, it consists also of fun, making friends, some interesting and useful programs for students and also in Yerevan there are always some conferencis and seminaresfor for students with international certificates with credits.

How much does it cost to live in Yerevan?

Its not expensive because Armenian dram have not a big value thats why for foreigners it will be cheep. I think 400€ for month is enough for student.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Yerevan? Is there any advice you can give?

No, in Armenia there are a lot of brokers and online resourses to find acommodation. Also bills are cheep.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

Food is the big part of Armenian culture. Armenians are gourmands. I think everyone knows about armenian Dolma and BBQ. There are a lot of national dishes only with vegetables and also you can find some original and traditional armenian sweets too. As you see armenian cousine is for everyone with different tastes and it's important that a lot of national dishes have some interesting stories and they come from centuries.

What places would you recommend visiting in Yerevan?

You can enjoy Kaskad (its touristes favorite place in Yerevan).

Also, you should visit:

1. Building of Opera and near it we have Swan lake.
2. Republic square with singing fountains.
3. A lot of ancient churches.

Is it good to eat out in Yerevan? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

Yes, because you can find any cuisine that you prefere and also there are a lot of fast food places for everyone and you can be calm because in Yerevan fast food isn't dangerous but it's cheep. In the center of Yerevan there are more restaurants and cafes that you can imagine. I'm sure that you can't stay hungry in Yerevan.

Is the nightlife good in Yerevan? Where is good to go?

There are a lot of pubs, bars and clubs. We have some music clubs where you can enjoy jazz, soul and other kind of music (Mezzo club, Malkhas club... ).

You can enjoy Yerevan just by walking at night because it's very beautiful.

What advice would you give future students heading to Yerevan?

It will be unforgettable adventure for life. Armenia will become your second motherland and you can feel yourself like at home. There is some old spiritual energy in Yerevan that can change your way of thinking and gives you strength.
