What is it like to live in Wroclaw? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

Wroclaw is one of the most beautiful cities of Europe. There are so much universities and of course so much students, young people also. Last year, friends who live here recommended me this city and I never regret about it. It'll be good option for you.

What is the student lifestyle like in Wroclaw?

Very nice. You can do whatever you want, obviously. Sport, natural view, historical places, parties, shopping centers, programmed public transportation and more... Wroclaw is for students!

How much does it cost to live in Wroclaw?

It's cheaper than the other European countries. If you live in a flat and travel a lot to other countries... You need more than 400 euros. If you live modest, 300-400 euros is enough for everything.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Wroclaw? Is there any advice you can give?

No. I study in Medical University and I live in my school's student dorm (Bliźniak). It's quite nice place for accommodation.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

The Polish kitchen isn't so good and delicous for me but there are so many options to eat. Big American restaurants, local traditional and modern restaurants and cafés... My favorite Polish dish is barszcz! It's typical spicy soup made with beet. And also I like pierogi... There are so many types of pierogi that you can choose whatever you want. But I don't like żurek and Polish sausages.

What places would you recommend visiting in Wroclaw?

Rynek, Island, Odra river, Japanese garden and fountain, Botanical garden for walk around... For shopping you can go Lidl and Biedronka, Korona and Auchen... Renoma and Magnolia park are elegant and nice also.

Is it good to eat out in Wroclaw? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

  • Pierogrania: For eat famous and traditional "pierogi"
  • Kurna chata: It's also traditional Polish restaurant. The menu is wide.
  • Pizza Bravo: Italian restaurant... Pizza, pasta, lasagnia, macaronni... Everything's beautiful.
  • Przełam Lody Café: It's very nice café and their ice cream is the best...
  • Vinyl Café: It's so cute and small. Their teas are the most delicious in Wroclaw. and Music choice's good.

Is the nightlife good in Wroclaw? Where is good to go?

Alcohol is cheap and so many young people... Parties are awesome in this city! No matter.

What advice would you give future students heading to Wroclaw?

Enjoy the city and discover something yourself... You'll never regret coming here.
