What is it like to live in Wroclaw? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

Wrocław is incredible...
Is the place where past meet the present. You can learn history on every corner, you can meet your friend wherever you go. Wrocław is dynamic and fat developing city with hundreds of thousands young people with passion and creativity.

What is the student lifestyle like in Wroclaw?

Polish student can enjoy the city as well as Erasmus. Of course it depends what are you studying and how much free time you have but everybody can find something interesting: clubs with parties, pubs with good music, concerts, shows, museums, good restaurants, green parks etc.

How much does it cost to live in Wroclaw?

The cost of living is around 800-1000zł it depends of your lifestyle and whether you live in dormitory or flat, where and what you eat, how often you party etc.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Wroclaw? Is there any advice you can give?

For Erasmus people the best option is a dormitory - almost 90% of erasmus people choose it and of course it's cheaper than flat

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

When you come to Wrocław you HAVE TO try żurek(soup), pierogi, cheese soup, and of course cheesecake ;P

Food is have, a lot of dishes are with pork.

What places would you recommend visiting in Wroclaw?

Rynek,
Panorama Racławicka,
Hala Stulecia with fountain,
Japanese Garden,
University of Wrocław,
Cathedral,
Ostrów Tumski,

and lots more

Is it good to eat out in Wroclaw? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

If you like out you will find all kind of restaurants from Vietnam's through Sushi from Japan to Mexican Cousine.
I would recommend Kurna Chata close to Rynek
If you want to try good beer go to Spiż or Piwnica Świdnicka
Przedwojenna - 1 euro bar ;P

Is the nightlife good in Wroclaw? Where is good to go?

OMG parties in Wrocław are crazy!!!
There are hundreds of clubs with different types of music but always with good parties!

What advice would you give future students heading to Wroclaw?

If you have another opportunity don't think about it and choose Wrocław - you won't regret it!!!
