What is it like to live in Wroclaw? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?
Wrocław have a lot of museums, theatre, cinemas... The old market is very beautiful (old architecture, people with bubbles near fountain... ). You can find place for romantic walk, crazy party or place where you can stay alone (near river). Wrocław have few parks.
What is the student lifestyle like in Wroclaw?
Wrocław is the best city for students. I've lived there 4 years. There is a lot of pubs, clubs etc. People are open-minded and friendly. Universities have a high level of education. A lot of people speaks in English but it's good to know basic polish too (for example in local shops).
How much does it cost to live in Wroclaw?
If you want single room in flat you will pay about 700 zł (about 170 euros). Place in dorm (1 room - 3 persons) cost about 330-400 zł (82-96 euros) per month. Communications: 45zł per month. I lived in dorm and i needed about 1200 zł per month ( accommodation+food+little party).
Is it difficult to find accommodation in Wroclaw? Is there any advice you can give?
