What is it like to live in Wroclaw? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

It's a city in which you can travel by bike. Chill on the island in centre of the city. Eats a lot of burgers (is the most popular gastronomy at the moment). You can see old tenement houses. In this city almost half of the people living here are students.

What is the student lifestyle like in Wroclaw?

There's a lot of bars and clubs in which you can get discount for being a student, some bars when you can drink and play games (padbar) the biggest club (eter) - few floors, the biggest cinema (Kino Nowe Horyzonty)

How much does it cost to live in Wroclaw?

It depends on how you are living, beer the bar or club - 6-10 zł, but there can be more expensive if there are regional or special, to eat good dinnet you need from 10 to 18 zł, in gastronomy, to travel you need 2, 20 zł to buy the common ticket.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Wroclaw? Is there any advice you can give?

No it isn't. To rent a single room you need from 500 to 800 zł, if you want double room is from 300 to 600 with all the bills and there are a lot of flats to rent in every part of the city. Even in the old town prices are not so high.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

You can eat homemade cuisine, or some vegeterian. And I like more the second one, there is really nice place called Najadacze on the street Kuźnicza in the old town, and Las or Zupa, in which you can eat really good soup - every day different.

What places would you recommend visiting in Wroclaw?

Island Słodowa, Museum of Modern Art, bars and cafes : Rozrusznik, Cafe Targowa, Cafe Sztuczki, Najadacze, Las, Kalambur, Kres, kino nowe horyzonty, street świdnicka, all the parks,

Is it good to eat out in Wroclaw? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

Yes, Rozrusznik, Najadacze, Patelnia, Kres, Mewa, Bar Smak, Bar u Mamy ( łokietka street) pizza at Szewska, and all the Foodtruck (on sunday there is a festival of food in Browar Mieszczański).

What advice would you give future students heading to Wroclaw?

Just go and see the places I recommend you and then you will find another and another, and talk with local people, they are very often very open and will tell you what should be your next stop.
