What is it like to live in Wroclaw? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

I would totally recommend living in Wroclaw. It is a vibrant and lively city with lots of sights, clubs, restaurants and bars, so perfect for students. The prices are low compared to Germany. Everything is really near by so you can walk everywhere.

What is the student lifestyle like in Wroclaw?

Wroclaw is absolutly perfect for students. It offers an amazing night life, lots of sights, history, amazing prices and awesome activties. There are many many students form abroad so the student community is really international.

How much does it cost to live in Wroclaw?

For my shared flat I paid 270 Euros/month, which in fact is actually expensive. But it was worth it because my flat was really big and fancy and close to the centre. You can also get really cheap rooms for example in the student dorms. There its only about 100Euros/month. For food I usually paid about 100-110Euros a month. But I love to cook for myself, so I bought lots of fresh and expensive products. You can have it a lot cheaper. It also includes coffee and eating out.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Wroclaw? Is there any advice you can give?

For me it wasn´t that easy, because I started pretty late. But for exchange students who want to live in a dorm room it is really easy to find something. I just didn't want to live in a dorm room.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

The food is amazing. Wroclaw offers everything. Chinese, japanese, italian, spanish, indian, typical polish dishes, burgers, steak... just everything you need.

I loved the typical polish pierogi.
