What is the student lifestyle in Wrocław?

There is a big student atmosphere, lots of parties, people form all over the world, everything.

How much does it cost to live in Wrocław?

It's cheaper to live in the residence, but all of the rooms are shared.

To rent a room for one person costs €200-250. Rent is the most expensive thing.

The rest: partying, groceries, going out to eat, public transport aren't all that expensive.

Was it difficult to find accommodation in Wrocław? Do you have any advice?

On gumtree especially, but the web pages change a lot.

It's all about searching around and viewing the flats. Obviously it's easier when the students arrive or leave. People also change flats after the first term.

What is the food like there? What are some of your favourite dishes?

Pierogi, cold meats, oscypek, zurek, barszcz.

Where would you recommend to visit in Wrocław?

Go up at least one of the tours to see the panorama of the city: the cathedral, the church with two towers and a bridge in between them, I think it's a church of Saint Elizabeth, the church on the Rynek (the main square) or one of the shopping centres: Dominikanska, Renoma.

2. The zoo (it's huge! I'd recommend spending the whole day there).
