Why did you choose to go to Wroclaw, Poland?

Because of the Zloty. it is cheap and moreover it is an international city, this is because of the money of course people all around the world are coming to wroclaw, because they use euro or pound and Zloty sounds cheap.

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

I studied without scholarship. My family sent me money, nearly 400 euro. if I had had scholarship, I was going to get 420 euro.

What is the student lifestyle like in Wroclaw?

it is easy to answer. if you stay in the dorm, you party all nights. nobody cares about classes. ERASMUS means party everyday.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Wroclaw to other students?

certainly. Normally all ERASMUS students take the same lessons named inter-studies. and they only study a few months, then they get essay ( final works) so they dont need to go to university. But I was in another faculty-philology.Philology Faculty lasck of ERASMUS students, there are so few international students and you take the classes with Polish. It is really hard to enjoy during your ERASMUS. I took 8 classes and I gave 5 of them, I couldnt take Other classes' exams because I was always hangover.

What is the food like?

I always cooked at dorm because I didnt like Polish food.

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Wroclaw?

nope. Before I went there, the university had arranged my accomodation.

How much does it cost to live in Wroclaw?

nearly 500-600 euros if you wanna live relax.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

there are language courses of course but you do not need Polish, nearly all students speak English, but for the folk, I used to have a Polish book (fast learning, phrases..) and I used that book everywehere, even in hospital. but Polish Doctors do not know English be careful about this.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Wroclaw from your city?

not direct flights but indirect ones, turkey-germany by plane; germany-poland by bus-train,

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Wroclaw?

rynek, but every year you can find a closest club near the dormitories.

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Wroclaw?

Papparazi is the best place I went. it was my favourite, I always had dinner there.

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

Zoo was nice, auszwithz-concentration camp in Krakow, and cathedrals, walking by the river is alsa nice.

Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Wroclaw in the future?

You live once, and dont mind anything, get drunk, go high, do everything you wanna do, never regret what you do, regret what you do not do.
