Why did you choose to go to Wroclaw, Poland?

Because it was a cheap city actually; however, when I arrived at Wroclaw I realized that I made a good choice because it was a beautiful city. I highly recommend you to choose it for your Erasmus experience!

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

My stay lasted 1 year and I only received 1.000 euros.

What is the student lifestyle like in Wroclaw?

There are many things to do!

Obviously you have to attend lessons, then you can go to the gym or intead you can visit the city monuments or buy souvenirs and clothes. After that, you can eat out at a restaurant and at the night there is always a plan to do with your friends like enjoying a beer, singning Karaoke or partying the night away!

Would you recommend the city and the University of Wroclaw to other students?

Of course!

What is the food like?

Polish food is really tasty, but of course you will probably miss food from your country. You just have to get used to it!

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Wroclaw?

Honestly, a little bit.

How much does it cost to live in Wroclaw?

At the moment, I'm living in a residence, but there are different prices, from €80/month to €200-300/month.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

The Polish language is not really easy; however, many people speak English, so that's fine. And yes, there are available Polish courses.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Wroclaw from your city?

I guess that by plane.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Wroclaw?

Without any doubt, Rynek (the city centre) is the best place!

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

The Opera, Rynek and the castles are a good choice!

In my opinion, be rush if you want to join in a group!
